Drain the swamp?Starting there is excellent.
I am really starting to think what will football in spring look like. I also have heard the same thing from the health science center.
Where do you fly to get you headed for Oxford? We've got plane tickets to go to the Ole Miss game and have planned on going since it was announced like 7-8 years ago. Just play that game. I don't care about the rest.
Memphis I'd bet. It's an hour from Oxford.Where do you fly to get you headed for Oxford?

I think the first thing that we all have to realize is that football, including practices are not going to start until campuses are open with students. It flies in their "they are students" arguments if they bring players but not students back. Given that, most universities are not planning on making a final decision about fall until June/July timeframe. The earliest teams are going to be able to practice is going to be the end of August. I think best case scenario is shortened conference only season.A spring season? No fans? What will college football look like in 2020?
Start practice end of June. If an outbreak occurs on a team, then they stop practicing/playing. Play full season in the fall with no fans or a highly limited number of fans (a few thousand scattered throughout a stadium). Acknowledge the possibility that not every team may be able to play all its games because of the virus on their team or a persistent outbreak in their area. If there is a big impact to the season, then cancel the playoffs and just do bowl games (unfair to have playoffs when not everyone has chance to compete).
After reading this article, the one thing I can say is that the season should not be in the spring because it messes with so many timelines.
Keep this garbage out of this forum.Drain the swamp?
I didn’t realize those university admins were part of a deep state effort to deligitimize Trump by canceling college football.
I said this when they just kept arbitrarily throwing out lockdown dates 2 weeks before we even got to the original one. I knew we were truly ****ed when they started shutting down schools. This is just total and complete lunacy. As if what we're doing now isn't bad enough, we're going to eff up the fall for NO REASON too?
Whatever little faith I had in my fellow man is gone. We have lost it.
You think we are even a slight speedbump? What this guy thinks doesn't mean a thing to UF and they seem hell bent on bowing out.
If the dwags somehow win a NC and we aren't there to at least try to derail it I'm cancelling my season tickets.
