I'll try to help Law's case here, cuz everything you said there is irrelevant (or will be deemed irrelevant by courts as this progresses)...Yes, but will 2 years in JUCO count toward draft eligibility. It certainly wouldn't be fair if a player transferring after 2 years of JUCO to have both 4 years of eligibility plus the ability to enter the draft after 1 more year. And it wouldn't be fair if a player transferring after 2 years of JUCO to be ineligible to enter the draft for 3 more years. Do the bozos who make these rules actually consider the ramifications?
People only need to ask one question as a "test" for any proposed rule on student athletes: "Could you put this same rule/restriction on an engineering student who's on scholarship?"
enough here... but worrying about alum that bring in 100's of million of $ for research and facilities are the new Blue Chip recruits for the university, not a kid from Pahokee that plays football.
