2001 vs Louisiana Monroe is the last time we wore the white jerseys in The Swamp. But yeah you are right about the Lsu game from some time late 90s. Spurrier was trying to get in their heads by making them wear purple jerseys because Lsu usually only wears the white away jerseys.

I could see this as a slight benefit for a September day game; makes no sense at night when you’re returning to normal attendance and trying to re-spark the Swamp energy.

At least they won’t be wearing some Nike experimental nonsense. (They’ll save that for Bama or UGA.)
