And I don't think Foley has ever said that's in his search criteria.t-gator;n109347 said:Not that I think it will be mcdaniels. But I just don't see how they're going to stick by the criteria of sec familiarity. Not a lot of guys to choose from

This criteria was just reiterated to me by someone. This is already pretty much known, but it's being confirmed from someone else:
- Experience as a head coach
- Good offenses
- Good recruiter
- Familiar with SEC
Now, seeing "good recruiter" leads me to believe it's either a current or former college coach. Would eliminate someone like Jim Harbaugh for example.
James Franklin ?

Same with Jon Gruden. Doubt he'd stay long even if he does come.
Honestly yes.alcoholica;n109353 said:Did you forget about Harbaugh coaching at Stanford?
I can't give a for sure answer because nobody REALLY knows. But everything I've heard indicates that Stoops is their guy.
TheDouglas78;109356 said:McDaniels was head coach of the Broncos for about 2 years. So the "no head coaching experience" doesn't apply to McDaniels.
