Spring Practice (PT 2)

I'm just hoping dog whisperer, Jarrad, and Rolin can get and stay healthy enough to play at all. Hell, Anzalone is on that list too.

It's a little nerve racking. Of the six scholarship linebackers we currently have, I think McMillian is the only one that hasn't had a major surgery in the last year or two. 5 of 6 recently undergone knee or shoulder surgery. Hell, I had a shoulder surgery for a torn labrum a little over two years ago and the damn thing still hurts. There's a lot of surgically repaired knees and shoulders out there. Here's to hoping those things hold up!

Anything to get the word out on what is actually happening in these practices.

I remember watching one of the all star games three years ago. Two guys were head and shoulders better than the rest, VH3 and AA (then a ND commit).

He has the talent to be the best LB we've had since Spikes.

Amazing game. I have never seen another HS player play as well in a HS all-star game as did VH3 in that game.

Ronald Powell, Andre Debose, and Gary Brown were absolutely phenomenal in their All Star Games

Debose? No he wasn't. Powell had a good game but the DL is always better than the OL in an all star game. Gary Brown's problems weren't on the field.

Debose had a streaking TD that was the offensive highlight of the All Star game. Powell killed it as a TE.

Short on scholarships, we are soph and rsfr heavy. So they will be seeing playing time, I think Mac will have them ready. And one thing for sure, we'll have a damn good team in a couple of years with all the young guys getting playing time.
