How do you go about it? Do you limit it to a couple wideouts and a tight end and how prolific they were? Do you look at the body of work of the entire roster? How many receptions does a good season make? Should yards per catch slant the discussion? How important are the contributions of the tight end?
I perused over the past 40 years. That used up half a pot of coffee. It’s easy to find years where we had two or three great receivers. It’s not so easy to find years where we had great receivers and a great tight end. In fact, there are only four seasons in which we had three receivers, the tight end included, with 30 or more catches.
So how do you rate these? Does the 2019 group belong?
