Recruiting 5* QB Jarrett Stidham flips Gators the bird, commits to Auburn

Franks has all the physical tools. He can even kick 50 yard FGs and punt the ball pretty far but we just have to hope he will have it upstairs next season. It looks like we arent going to land some well thought of transfer at QB.

Despite how anemic as UF has been offensively in recent years, why would a quarterback like Stidham want to go to a team that runs the ball as much as Auburn? Yeah, they have a spread offense, but it's a HEAVILY run oriented spread offense. That's not changing any time soon. Objectively speaking, UF is a much better fit for his skillset if he's down to either school. Hopefully, he realizes this.

Yeah I've been thinking the same thing. They aren't going to magically become pass heavy. They rely on the qb being mobile as well. they're 70 pass 30 run and have been since Gus has been there.

Apparently he has a good relationship with the OC at Auburn and has had that for a while. I also heard on twitter (no idea how true it is) that his GF was going to go to Auburn...
