But if Chris Rainey had done this exact strategy and stopped short of the end zone the game would have ended in regulation. But he scored on a long TD run, then STA scored, recovered an onside kick and scored again to tie it. The games es finally won when John Brown stopped an STA RB inches from the end zone in the last OT.
