I was thinking the other day, when was the last time we got off to a good start in this game, because it seemed like it's been awhile? Since Kirby has been their coach, Ugay has scored on their 1st possession in every one of those 5 games. We did end up winning 2 of those, but I guess I had forgotten how quickly we have fallen behind to them in the last 5 games. We haven't scored first in this game since 2015, when Ugay muffed a punt near their goal line and we recovered in their end zone. The last time we scored on our 1st possession in this game was 2009. Just some stuff I found interesting, and doesn't really come as a shock, since we've had crap coaches and recruiting since Urban left. I don't expect Saturday to be any different as Ugay knifes yet again thru Fat Todds swiss cheese defense for the games opening score. Hard to see this series not being dominated by Ugay for the next several years, unless wholesale changes are made to our administration and coaching staff. Even if those changes are made in the next year, you got to think it will take a couple of years to catch up to them. It's just gonna such ass in the meantime, especially if they finally win that elusive natty.
