We may have wanted a Brady or Elway but this is who we had. Proud of his improvement. Hard work pays off. Lots of great comments in all the articles coming out.

Really? You haven't really made your feelings known about Franks yet.

This^.

Also, I want to reiterate that competition is good. Hell, Alabama benched the QB that got them to the Title game last year (yes I just said this in another thread). I didn't say, that any player fearing competition I don't want on my team. Get better, win the competition...or don't.

Let me save the suspense for you guys, agree or not.

Franks is the QB next year. Period. Probably the next two years.

Doubling down, eh? You predicted Jones would unseat Franks by midseason. It's obvious you've been sitting in on the quarterback meetings.

Jones is a natural for this offense. I think you're wrong.

That's actually the opposite of doubling down. Doubling down would be guaranteeing EJ wins the job, again, like I did last year.

But... yeah... Mullinz loves Franks.

He wouldn't even let EJ throw the ball. Mullinz doesnt think it's close, no matter what you and I think about who "fits" the offense better. It's not hard to read these tea leaves.

BS. He has such confidence in Franks' throwing ability that he frequently called runs on third and long.

Anything longer than 10 yards and Franks is a crapshoot.

Come back with something better.

This is embarrassing.

He was BENCHING Franks for Trask before Trask took another dive.

Mullen's gonna look bad when he starts Mac's two-star high school backup over his own recruit.

:snicker:

Frank’s downfield short comings will be the easiest thing to fix in the off season. Mullen trusts Franks and I bet he isn’t done working with him. I expect it will be very tough to unseat him. EJ has been used sparingly and I suspect that has more to do with EJ’s shortcomings than anything else.

I hope you're right. But when the quarterback rolls right from the opponent's 5 with a receiver wide open in the end zone running the same direction, and rather than throw the ball to said wide-open receiver he runs out of bounds, we may a downfield problem.
