Let me save the suspense for you guys, agree or not.
Franks is the QB next year. Period. Probably the next two years.
There's no porpoise like an intensive porpoise. For all intensive porpoises this was Frank’s freshman season. He’s still learning. He does a lot of things right and a lot of things that can’t be coached. If Frank’s connected on 3-4 of the long bomb throws this year we wouldn’t be having this convo. And that’s a very easy problem to fix. Downfield post-snap reads may or may not come but are not a big part of this offense and/or won’t effect the outcomes of any games.
Especially if JJ comes in and really shows out. Trask is going nowhere.Franks is the starter next year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see EJ transfer.
Is size really that important? The guy who just won the Heisman is about 4 feet tall.Barring a serious injury, or a major gain in size and durability by EJ, FF will be hard to displace. I'm not going overboard on FF by any means, but he is developing better than I ever thought he would, and 6'6" 240 ain't no joke. To supplant FF, EJ is going to have to eat his Wheaties and refine his skills - big time. I still think JJ is the real wild card here. Time will tell.
Well, don't stop there. Go ahead and provide evidence that Franks is accomplished downfield passer. Hail Marys don't count.Well ... it's a reality. Too bad its your drunk and skewed reality.
Not really an apples to apples comparison...Murray was not ask to hurl his body into the los between the tackles 8-12 times or more a game the way a QB in Mullens system will.....his runs came off scrambles from the pocket mostly....Is size really that important? The easiest thing to fix is Frank's ability to connect on the long throws. He overthrows at least one a game. Fix that and he'll start putting up 300 yard games regularly with a corresponding loosening of the running game. You can't coach arm strength but you can practice timing.Well, don't stop there. That's what she said.Is size really that important? .
Danny Wuerrfel completed 60% of his passes. He missed long throws too. I doubt we are ever going to get a guy who is 100%.The easiest thing to fix is Frank's ability to connect on the long throws. He overthrows at least one a game...
What this doesn't show is the number of times he leaves a perfectly good downfield throw on the table in favor of a scramble for lack of recognition. The easiest thing to fix is Frank's ability to connect on the long throws. Frank's completes 55% of his and they're shorter routes than Danny faced.Danny Wuerrfel completed 60% of his passes. He missed long throws too.

I agree there is plenty to work. Id like to see more touch on those long ones and less lasers, especially when it is a fade or behind the safety.
Remember this is still year one and the team is still struggling with install of the playbook. Im sure we wont even have it all installed til this spring. I expect big improvements in year 2. And there will be much more time to work on nuances of the game.
Let's see:Frank's completes 55% of his and they're shorter routes than Danny faced.
It's obvious you haven't bothered to read my other posts here. I've tipped my cap to Franks numerous times for his toughness and leadership.Where did I say he was an accomplished downfield passer? Below is what I said. You are the one who stopped.
"I dont get all the love for EJ and hate for FF. Peeps even making stuff up about FF like he has a slow throwing motion. That is total fabricated BS. FF isn't perfect, far from it. He came to our program as a very rough talent who needed some coaching but we had butters'n'nuss. He seems to have some attitude issues and panics/acts out with pressure, whether that is on field pressure or just everyday pressure of being the starting QB at a big school. But his turn around this year cannot be denied. His stats are impressive and his ability to keep fighting has to be taken into account when you consider this team last year was a bunch of quitters. He is the starting QB of a team that has consistently shown this season to be hard finishers when last season they faded and quitted in the 2nd half of every game."
I'm pretty sure you've undergone a sex change. I hardly recognize you anymore.Let's see:
Franks sucks
UCF and Ugly in playoffs
Another other nonstop diatribes to expect from you all offseason?
In a matter of three weeks or so you transformed from a poor man's Jboss to a poor man's Trex, and that is probably an insult to Trex.

You deemed the targeted criticism of his passing as hate. I corrected you. It's not hate; I love the kid. It's the simple reality that his downfield passing and recognition leave lots to be desired. Have you been watching the same quarterback? I really have to wonder.
Perhaps you were drunk and skewed when you responded to my post. Dunno.
I don't drink. You must be drunk not to see the consistent shade you are throwing at FF all the while hiding behind you saying you tip your hat to him. You must have voted for Hilary.
