Like the new avatar. One of the best cop shows ever!
I shoulda come to the Beer World last night. We coulda discussed it. I started watching reruns last year and blown away at the humor, writing and how they tackled every damned thing All In The Family discussed. Today the funniest line ever in that show was Wojo bringing in a deaf hooker. Barney started talking to her and Wojo said "She cant hear you, she is deaf" So Barney does a long apology and Wojo told him "she didnt hear that either". Then Dietricht says "You want me to mime her her rights" after watching most of the reruns I put it top ten all time now.

Lol. My favorite was when Dietrich beat the polygraph when he said he was born a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. BTW-If you would have showed I’d have bought you a beer - well, maybe not. But more importantly you would’ve met Mrs. G.

Great post, Truth. Loved it. BW needs to post more with substance before he criticizes yours. Keep it coming!

I enjoy Truth posts just like everyone else. This one was long. I liked the post just like pretty much everyone. I'll try to add some more substance to my posts though. Thanks for your constructive criticism.

Miami isnt scoring 17 points unless Franks goes Full Drisktard and scores for them several times.

I see us somehow having a bad turnover. It's amazing re-watching old games and how many times we had bad turnover. Heck, as I was writing this (took about 2 hours btw because of this next part) I was watching The Best Game Ever Played in the Swamp and realized bad turnovers lead to FSU's first two scores. I had forgotten about that.

Which players were talking trash? Did I miss something?

Not sure if this is what I'm thinking, but I know I've seen a few things. Side note, I was at both Miami '03 and UT '16 after the comments, big leads and blown games so I'm extra wary.

Love you, man. But it would be better if you would shorten it up just a bit. You're the wordiest poster.
Also I agree with the point Donk made, scUM isn't scoring 17 on us this weekend for many reasons we've all been talking about all off-season. Gameday can't get here fast enough. Go Gators!

My exact words when I told my brother I posted my Miami preview, "it's long". I just try to be detailed on why I think the things I do, throw in tidbits some may or may not know/realize and also cut some comments/questions off at the pass.

Also, I don't think they score 17 without turnovers..see response to Law above.

Exactly. We have maybe 6 guys that would have even been recruited by our championship era teams in 90s or 00s.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true but they wouldn’t have been recruited to be starters. Capable back ups.

I think we'd have several starters. I mean, go look at my average recruiting ranking of our receivers vs. 2006-08 I did in the 2018 preview. We don't have the once in a generation players like Tebow and Harvin though. Our running backs are more complete than Demps, Rainey, James (who was great at returns, so-so in the backfield), Moore and Moody. Though Demps (from an area high school) and Rainey had the speed for days we don't have.

You could be reduced to a Dooley column.

Whereas once upon a time Dooley did help me out and put a song from a band I was in a decade ago. (Had to use Whereas);)

I still have a hard time comprehending optimistic Law. It makes me nervous.

Or could it be good? I mean he's had a reason to be pissed off for years, now it appears to be looking up. Perhaps Law just is good at reading the direction of the program? (I can't find a shrugging emoji)

BW needs to post more with substance before he criticizes yours.

He's fine, seems more length commentary than substance.

if we do find a way to lose this game we’ll be fighting for 7-5 it’ll be a miracle to win 8 games and we’ll be nosediving faster than a bowling ball

I don't disagree with this. I think we should be much better than that, but losing this game easily could have that kind of impact.

Its pretty simple really. Even on ESPNs FPI or whatever they call it, this is the 9th or 10th best team we play. We are playing them in week one with a new coaching staff who are guys with below average to terrible track records.

We are going to struggle this year, maybe a lot, but not vs scUM.

Since I do not have GatorTruth's thorough FB acumen, I can't walk a mile in his shoes to critique that it should be shorter.

The famous and superbly skilled writer Anatole France, to his pen-pal : "Sorry for this lengthy letter. I had not the time to make it shorter."

My bad Rog. I definitely thought of you when I typed out "wordiest poster". That's your Title for sure.

I never understood complaints about things like this being "too long". Is there some law that if you see an article that's long, that you can't read any of it? My God, what people complain about. Start reading an article, and if it's good, you'll read the whole damn thing no matter how long it is. If you don't have time to read it all in one sitting, you'll return to finish it later. If it's boring to you, then you'll stop reading it at some point.

The point is, actually try to READ IT before complaining about it. Truth, you make these just as long as you see fit.
