It’s like you don’t read. I’ve said he did fine numerous times. Completed a bunch of balls against air. Played it safe. Never said “bad” or “shyt”. That’s you getting hyper emotional as a pumper and not living in reality. I want him to live up to his potential, take some chances - smart chances, not the hero ball he’s started doing again, become that willing runner he was at the end of last year, and develop leadership instead of likership. How is that hate - unless you’re a diehard pumper who refuses to see reality?
You know why we were in a position for a blade of grass to cause a FG? Because Franks played it safe with 5 screen/sideline passes! As
@ltraz just detailed for you, intermediate passes were there. He just didn’t take them. Which leads to 3rd and 4 against FCS teams and allows a particularly virile blade of grass to ankle tackle a TE. Later in the game, he tried a couple of intermediate passes over the middle and guess what - it worked! Same story on the other drive - 5 rushes, 2 sideline passes, turnover on downs. He starts going over the middle, offense moves, and scores points. Amazing right? Almost like they started sluggish... 28-0 is a heck of a lot different than 17-0.
