Mylanta. Add that to the 7 min vid. Called it. Kids a freak man. Get him.Your weekly Jahmyr Gibbs update (albeit a little late): Gibbs had to pretty much carry his Dalton HS team as they were without their starting QB, best O-lineman. and best WR against Region foe River Ridge. Ho-hum, Gibbs ran for 326 yards on 21 carries (15.5 avg) and three TDs. His TDs were on runs of 83, 50, & 64 yards respectively. Dalton had the back up QB knocked out and was playing with a third stringer from the 2nd quarter on, so I have to believe the entire focus of the D was on Gibbs. I do not have the skill set to determine what translates fromm HS to the SEC, but have to believe this guy is going to be a star at the next level. I really hope we are pulling out all the stops to get him onto campus.
Did y'all notice very early in the video that it said Kirby Smart on the tackle" ?
why am i not surprised you are advocating for permanently laying down with mutts... :rolleyes:uh yeeaahh.... a simple phone call and you wouldn’t have had to study so hard!

I think you misunderstood. Are there teams out there that perform well, but recruit like crap like we are now? That is apart from the self appointed national champs down in Orlando.
While I generally agree with your recruiting sentiment, I'm not that convinced about LSU. They are steamrolling folks this year, but their level of competition has been pretty inferior. That this game is in BR makes me give them the edge, but a Gator win would not surprise me at all. The theory I have subscribed to for awhile is that great recruiting does not mean competing for championships, but you can't compete for championships without great recruiting. Schools like LSU, A&M, FSU, and Michigan have had great classes over the last few years and other than FSU, none of them have made a conference championship game in a while, let alone get a sniff at the playoffs. We've also seen many teams overachieve their recruiting, though they too don't really compete for championships (despite what some folks at a certain school in Orlando seem to think).Hate to say but we are playing to our recruiting level. We are how we recruit.
Beating LSU however would be out if our league.

Just shows how much LSU is smoke and mirrors.
Here are the defensive rankings of the teams that this “high powered” LSU offense has faced:
Georgia Southern- 60th
Texas- 104th
NWSU(FCS)- 113th
Vandy- 125th
Utah St- 95th
Personally, I do not think they are a bad offense, but they aren't what people think they are so far. We'll find out what they're made of this year. Orgeron hired a good OC, he seems to be letting him run the show. They recruit about as well as anyone not named Alabama (and UGA). So they have the talent. They have a very good DC. If they lay an egg against us, Alabama, or Auburn it'll be the same old story. If they win the West? Well, that will say a lot. They lose Burrow after this year, so can they sustain the success on the field? They are bringing in a heck of a class this year, especially along the DL. We'll know more in less than 48 hours.

Really all they have is Burrow. I am not that impressed with their running game...of course I am not entirely impressed with ours either....however we have more options, both in the ground game and through the air.
Our defense is also better than LSU, as a whole. Our DBs smoke theirs, but the front 7 will probably keep us from having any monster day on the ground.
Barring injury, I see nothing that says we won't win this game.
So during the summer camps we all read that Wingo was consistently the best linebacker. Outshining Justin Flowe and others. Rivals analyst Rob Cassidy believes Wingo is a top 5 player in the country regardless of position. Basically, he will be a five star before the final ranking and so will Dexter (his stats are insane).
It is almost hard to imagine LSU having an offense. Theyve had a garbage offense all of my life, switching from Notre Dame option to Saban and other Woody Hayes crap and comstantly losing games to teams they shouldnt for thirty years. They're laying the groundwork for a successful program w/ the talent they're stockpiling. Their WR's are very good. If they keep running this offense and keep getting the right QB they'll give Alabama a run. I

He’s 24th, so basically yeah. They just haven’t expanded the 5 stars yet. But he’s in a sweet spot to get one.Isn't Dexter a 5-star on 247 already? Need Rivals to come around on him....and 247 to move Wingo up.
