Does the sun set in the west out there?
The sun never sets on Brad

That figures. I remember seeing some monkeys at the At-lanta zoo when I was younger. None of ‘em could keep their hands off the coriolis or whatever the simian term is. I’ll bet @Zambo was rough on the stick when he was flying regular.@cover2 -pretty sure Zambo was wondering what effect rubbin the coriolis would have
I'd be more worried about the beavers, but we'll be able to hear them coming through the woods, so sniper monkeys are definitely the bigger threat!
So in the end I went with the low voltage recessed LEDs. They put out a surprising amount of light. I installed a dimmer switch and we find the lowest setting to be very satisfactory. There is a slight strobe effect when the fan is on (more noticeable by the women folk for some reason), so it has been determined I need to raise the fan a foot or so, and I need to touch up the paint in a couple of spots, but otherwise it’s all good and was a fairly easy project. The toughest part was running some of the wire in a very tight space. Thank God for the old fish-tape!Oh. Yeah... this is now into Coot territory.
So there are no brackets to hold a can light assembly already in place behind those holes you cut?
But then the women wouldn't be able to reach the pull chain.Shortening the fan shaft would lessen the influence of the light cone. View attachment 21743
True.... They usually piss on your accompaniments. But then the women wouldn't be able to reach the pull chain.
True, but I’ve discovered six lights was over kill and can definitely afford to lessen the cone. Thanks for the tip though.Shortening the fan shaft would lessen the influence of the light cone.
They’ll just step on a chair or make my 6’3” son do it.But then the women wouldn't be able to reach the pull chain.
Hope the chemicals aren’t harmful.
I can... and have done it.
Within months of moving into our current house.... which we designed and custom built.... the wife asked for a pocket door to be installed at the entrance of a small hallway. I figured matching the eventual huge drywall repair would put a nail in this idea. As luck would have it, we were doing a small reno in an office at work and the drywall master was there. He said he could 100% match the future massive hole I was thinking about putting into the wall. So, I did it. And then watched him work his magic. Which was awe inspiring. Watching him armed me with some techniques that I have honed in over the years.
