Is Percy Harvin even one of our top 25 receivers? I don't think he ever had 1000 yards.

Anyway:

Wuerffel
Emmitt
FB/Short yardage power back Tebow/Jones
Jack Jackson, Jabar (many great options here: Alvarez, Chandler, Ike, etc. I never saw Chandler in college or Alvarez, so I just rank the guys I saw. I think Alvarez was the most unamimous though if you look at how many services awarded him AA.)
Zimmerman, Lomas, Odom, Pouncey x2.

Mushchimp nominees for the only offensive player that matters: Kyle Christy and Chas Henry (draw).

There's only one TE that has the AA given by multiple sources and I don't claim him.

Here's the All American list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._All-Americans

I would think his 858 yards receiving in 2007 is in there. This is where, I suppose, the case will be made for pure receivers like Alvarez (88 receps, 1,329 yards in 1969) or Chad Jackson (88 for 900 in 2005). When you factor in his rushing yards, though, how do you keep Harvin off the team? I couldn't bring myself to name Jackson ahead of him.

Uhhh, because he wasn't really a receiver at all. Didn't run routes. He was just a guy who caught screen passes or crossers then took them to the house.....NTTAWT. I guess I'd call him a tailback who sometimes played the slot. His AA honors were as kick returner/all purpose and he got basically the same honors as Brandon James.

But mostly because he didn't play if he didn't want to, was suspended for fighting players, was suspended for fighting coaches, or was suspended for failing numerous drug tests. I get the yard per catch argument but the fact that he only got on the field 10 plays even when he wasn't suspended/hurt (or just didn't want to play) factors in to me. He gets shiitbag pain in the azz demerits and doesn't really have the resume anyway. We have like 10 receivers with more All American honors, so someone--actually a lot of someones-- agrees with me.

The fact that you don't have Chandler AND/OR Alvarez invalidates your list.

I guess there are arguments for all of them and some say you should discount the receiver numbers during the Spurrier years.

I would just put that 96 offense . With maybe Hernandez at tight end and the pouncey brothers on the o-line. But my memory doesn't go past 95 so I can't speak for anyone before that.

It's not even close, the 2013 Gator team was clearly the most offensive team of my lifetime... :deadnanner:

No, the fact he has a Pouncy on it does, though.

We had some great OL in the 80s that aren't getting any love. While Tebow might have been the best football player ever at UF, Danny was the best QB.
