Our possessions from the 11:00 minute mark to Nembhard's layup:
10:30 - KJ missed layup - 15 seconds left on clock
9:30 - Basset dunk blocked - 22 seconds on clock
8:45 - TO 23 seconds left on clock
8:20 - KJ made runner - 11 seconds left on clock
7:50 - KJ missed 3 - 20 seconds left on clock
7:30 - KJ missed layup - 17 seconds on clock
7:10 - KJ missed layup - 23 seconds on clock
7:00 - TO by Hudson in backcourt - 26 seconds on clock
6:34 - Bassett dunk blocked - 15 seconds on clock
6:01 - Allen off. foul on drive - 9 seconds on clock (KJ had driven with with 15 seconds but was cut off)
5:35 - TO by Nembhard - 20 seconds on clock
4:57 - Nembhard fouled - 19 seconds on clock, missed 1 and 1
4:17 - Hayes fouled - 13 seconds on clock
3:44 - Hayes fouled on layup - 19 seconds on clock
3:36 - Hayes missed alleyoop - 25 seconds on clock
3:04 - Hudson missed 3 - 6 seconds on clock
2:33 - Hayes fouled on lay up - 23 seconds on clock

17 total possessions minus 3 TO's with 20+ seconds on clock = 14 possessions we ran offense
Of those 14 possessions, only two went under 10 seconds on the shot clock!
4 were from 11-15 seconds.
8 possessions where we shot or were fouled with over half the shot clock left, and 7 of 8 with 19 or more seconds on the shot clock!
We only got 10 shots up because we had 3 TO's and were fouled 4 times. We ran offense, we just didn't make shots.
But hey, don't let facts get in the way of the Mike White "prevent offense" narrative.

Isn’t that interesting. Even I fell into that mentality. Nice analysis.

The fouls prevented White from running more clock and the possessions from 13-10 min were the biggest issue. The running clock and bad shots caused the momentum to shift and resulted in the lead disappearing...at the 7 ish min mark the team started panicking because an 18 pt lead had almost gone away. Ending with some quick shots and getting to the line thankfully due to dumb fouls by Nevada. Mike White played into the strategy and made the situation perfect for a comeback. Reggie Miller was screaming at the 13-10 min mark that it was dumb for us to dribble the ball out and waste clock. A Hall of Famer saw what was happening. Fans saw what was happening...the coach did not. That is a problem
So Buffalo was up 18 with 14 min left same as us. They have had 6 possesions and attacked all 6 times...scoring 10 pts and now has a 20 pt lead under 12 min left....

Edit: 9 straight possessions attacking and up 23 now lol. You dont put the brakes on ever with 14-15 left in the game

What truth? Mike White is some kind of all star?
To a lot of experts, he is exactly that... Former SEC player... A coach young enough to recruit at Florida. Most people agree that he's an excellent defensive coach, does good work on the inbounds plays, and at one time had a lot of success running up tempo offense. In fact, he was hired as sort of an offensive, run and gun, type of coach (same offense as Bruce Pearl). All you football gurus don't know chit about roundball....So shut your mouths.... and Go Gators!

Mike White forever! :nutswinger::nutswinger::nutswinger::chomp::poop:

both of my parents went to UB. Heck of a team. Way way better than our pathetic Gators and their $hit coach.

Only 2 of the 4 fouls were non-shooting fouls away from the basket. The one on Nembhard occurred with 19 seconds left, I don't see how you can say he was trying to run clock. The other two were shooting fouls under the basket with 19 and 23 seconds on the clock!

So was it the last 13 minutes as you previously stated, or was it the 13 minute to 10 minute mark? Is it we ran too much clock, as previously stated, or did we rush shots? Do you think that 3 minute span where we had 4 possessions overrides the last 10 minutes where we attacked the basket? During that span, Hayes had a TO with 8 seconds left on a weak backdoor pass where Allen was open; KJ missed a wide open 3 with 2 seconds left on the clock; Locke made a wide open 3 with one second left on the clock; and KJ missed a layup with 19 seconds on the clock. So of the three possession I didn't mention previously, two ended with wide open shots and third had a cutter that was wide open, but the pass was deflected. We were still up 12 at that point, btw, and it would've been 15 or more if not for the horrible reffing. Everyone here agrees with that, yet your Hall of Famer never said a word about it, and he even disagreed with the obvious hook and hold call where Hayes was fouled. Reggie may have been a HOF player, but he's not a HOF announcer.

If we're gonna start quoting analysts, let's quote Bilas and Barkley, who have both said White is a great coach. Maybe we should quote Seth Davis, who said after the game, "Florida is so disciplined defensively. They know they have limited talent, they know they can't outscore and run and gun with teams, so they lock you up defensively and disrupt what you do. Florida is a very well coached team."

Everyone knows that if you don't win a championship every two or three years, it's because your coach sucks balls. We need Calimari here stat. Only a big-time status coach with loads of Championship pedigree, can give us the endless final fours that await us and our 9K home fans. If only we could coach our Big Men to be better scorers and rebounders. If only we could grow our recruits to respectable heights instead of always cutting them off at the knees. Man, we suck. MeatChicken will probably tear us a new one per usual. Someday, our Cheapo administration will get with the program...until then, I can barely watch.

Im beginning to enjoy this.

So many Mushchimp excuses. Prevent offense is great. "Everyone knows" he is a great coach.

Bilas is a jackass, but he knows what he's talking about. Barkley is a Hall of Famer, so he must know what he's talking about... ;)
He thinks Beuce Pearl is a Hall of Fame coach...so no, I'm not sure he could spell his name...or beat a 4 year old at golf tenor%20(1).gif
