Beat Franks career high in his first start.
Franks started our first 3 games this year. If he was better than Trask he should have had 350 yards against UTM.I think Trask is doing a great job given he's never started before, but you have to remember Franks had a running game to help last year. He wasn't forced to throw to move the ball. Trask is being forced to throw just to move the ball so he's going to have higher numbers unless or until the OL decides they want to start run blocking some.
Orlovsky said he believes the issue isn’t all OL - Perine is to hesitant and doesn’t find holes well. He pointed out several plays that Perine simply ran into the line instead of a hole. Time to upgrade to Pierce.Trask worked the middle of the field very well.
How can your OL be fantastic in pass protection, yet get absolutely no push on running plays? I’ve never seen an OL that was that good in one aspect and that bad in the other.
I’m not seeing many holes.Orlovsky said he believes the issue isn’t all OL - Perine is to hesitant and doesn’t find holes well. He pointed out several plays that Perine simply ran into the line instead of a hole. Time to upgrade to Pierce.

They look like rejects from Bob’s Big Boy restaurants.Doucheiest getup in football
Still played without zuniuga, cj, toney and half stiner
I'm not sure of to many games he threw that much in one game. Imo though Mullen didn't trust him to throw the ball. It seems to be the opposite with Trask. I will say this, today was the 1st time under Mullen were the offense was fun to watch. Trask was slinging the ball around and it was exciting. I think I seen 2 passes behind the LOS. It seemed like more than 50% of Frank's passes are behind the LOS which is really boring to watch.
I'll also say it's not fair to Jones that when he comes in the offense once again becomes boring and its behind the line passes.
Back to the point, Trask is more of a ...gunslinger. I don't love that word for him, but he's more willing to throw it. We'll have much more passing success because of it, but also more exposure to risk.
It's early and the sample size is small, but there's no denying the difference Trask makes

I think if you watch a reply you’ll change your mind re Trask v. Jones.Went to the game, my first live one in several years. Random thoughts...
Swamp upgrades are evident, especially WiFi. My first time in the N. end zone “sunshine seats.” I liked them.
Thin areas but not unexpected for a noon game against a train wreck.
Guarantano was terrible. Missed wide open targets by a lot. Typical Ut generosity with the ball. Good day to rest Zuniga & Henderson.
We wore them out. But I think they were beaten before they got off the bus. We are a well-coached team.
Stunned by Trask. EJ looked better as the game wore on.
Stunned at our secondary playing so well with so many young guys. Elam is for real. Burney and Dean are key.
Honestly, would nearly rather win ToP than score. We also held the Mid-line.And we won ToP.
