You East-coasters and your cool weather.
Clearly you found a recipe; and a good one I'd say. What kind of sausage? Andouille?
There was bacon added but you will have to take my word for it.

Roast Beef. Cooked in the oven @ 450 for 20 minutes then to the smoker for 1.5 hours. Forgot to get a picture of the plate w/ root veggie and potatoes.
Thanks. I criticized myself and wished I had taken it off about 10-15 minutes earlier. That looks amazing!
CD's right, looks great! Thanks. I criticized myself and wished I had taken it off about 10-15 minutes earlier.
Honey garlic shrimp with scallions; garden salad with Asian sesame dressing.
My apologies for the photo of a partially eaten meal. Very busy night and dinner had to be eaten quickly. After we started, Mrs G complimented the meal and noted her surprise at me not taking a photo to share here.
While I tend to often be critical of my own cooking, I had to admit this was really good. That meant bragging here, and since I didn’t want to hear “pics or it didn’t happen” pics of a partially eaten plate it is.
The marinade had a fair bit of honey, so when the shrimp hit the oil, it carmelized after a minute or so, giving it a nice crust.
A recipe. I’m not yet at a level where I can invent stuff. (I have sister who makes the best linguine with clam sauce I’ve ever had, but it’s slightly different every time because she makes it up as she goes along - I’m very envious!)Nice, did you follow a recipe or make it up as you go? I'd love to know more.
