Justus Boone suffered a lower body injury near the end of practice on Thursday.
The severity of Boone’s injury is not known at this time. Florida coach Billy Napier meets with the media on Friday and will be able to address the status of Boone.
Boone appeared in all 13 games last season, finishing with 24 tackles, a TFL, a sack and a quarterback hurry. He unseated
Princely Umanmielen as Florida’s starting defensive end for two games, making his
first career start against Eastern Washington.
