Total waste of a year. Biggest mistake since that top ranked RB chose Colorado for no apparent reason years ago. How ironic that he’s rumored to be following Sanders to the same place.
Not to pour more salt on the wound. But remember James Houston who couldn’t get on the field with Grantham?

Ohio State did. He committed to UCF over Ryan Day. Who many consider the best recruiter in the country. How many of you think Kirby or Saban would have lost a head to head battle with UCF if they really wanted him?
Damn, that’s a tough love post right there.Think there is some truth to a little bit of all this. I understand Billy was dealt a $hit hand when he came in. However, he was given all his demands and has the biggest recruiting staff in the country. I don't see how our administration can be the issue if we were able to flip rashada back to us. If we outbid Miami for him, it had to be a considerable amount of money. If we have that much to throw at him, how can we not muster it up for a couple of other big needs? Personally I'm not willing to put the majority of the blame on Admin. Also, I understand Miami is throwing supposedly large sums of money around, but how many recruits do you all honestly think Billy would have beat Mario out for if NIL wasn't around? Be honest and try to put the hate for them aside. Same thing when it comes to Walker. How many of you think Kirby or Saban would have lost a head to head battle with UCF if they really wanted him?
You put Ryan Day in the same category as Kirby and Saban?Ohio State did. He committed to UCF over Ryan Day. Who many consider the best recruiter in the country.
See that really short, ugly, fat chick in the corner ?So who do we lead for?

As a recruiter? Yeah. You put Ryan Day in the same category as Kirby and Saban?
Could be top five stuff. Never know till you take her home.See that really short, ugly, fat chick in the corner ?

Point taken but don't forget he was a lock to us according to most recruiting sites and Mario pulled the rug out from us on decision day. Kudos for Billy to get him back, now we have to get him on campus. My gripe is the part of the fan base that is putting all the blame on NIL. They say NIL is being hamstrung by the admin, which I could see to a certain percentage. But if that's the case, how do we explain getting Rashada back because we had to fork out some money to get him here even with Mario's incompetence on the field. You're telling me that the University of Florida is having to take the "Money Ball" approach to NIL? I mean if we are, good strategy by the staff because if you can hit on a game changing QB, he can cover up a lot of bad. See AR at his peak for example, but we should never have to SETTLE. Napier needs to put extreme pressure on the admin if this is the case.Don’t forget Rashada flipped right after cristobal sent his QB back in the game when it was obvious he wasn’t in any shape to “tough it out.”

I think the big thing with NIL is the collective is that money gets spread to every athlete across UF athletics whereas Miami has a booster just targeting football players for them. Would not shock me to learn that we couldn't pay for a OT because we had they sent that money to women's badmitten.Point taken but don't forget he was a lock to us according to most recruiting sites and Mario pulled the rug out from us on decision day. @GatorJ I respect your opinion, I just have a different one. I think Kirby and Saban are on a different level and then its everybody else.
Here's my two bits on people/boosters ponying up NIL money, and I'm just spit ballin' here based on the types of "money people" my daughter has interacted with over the last two years in the Presidential Suite at BHG (and that's every game, and she is the student Chairperson for hosting, so she walks around and talks to the people, not standing behind a counter handing out drinks):Point taken but don't forget he was a lock to us according to most recruiting sites and Mario pulled the rug out from us on decision day.
